Equity in Computer Science

Grades K-12

Computer Science education has typically inadequately served under-represented groups such as women, racial/ethnic minorities, multi-lingual learners, and students with disabilities. This Code.org self-paced professional development (PD) training aims to provide resources and supports that will allow teachers to build a CS classroom where all students have the ability to thrive.

This K-12 general, curriculum-agnostic course focuses on the foundational concepts and concrete applications of equity in computer science. You do not need prerequisite equity or computer science knowledge to engage with this course. We welcome adult learners from all grade levels and teaching contexts to join our community of equity-minded educators.
