CS Principles Professional Learning Opportunity
URI is a Code.org Regional Partner and we are supporting educators who would like to teach Code.org's CS Principles curriculum in Rhode Island! This is a unique opportunity for teachers to attend a virtual Code.org week-long Summer 2026 workshop conducted by national facilitators, and receive additional PD throughout the 2026/27 school year.
Successful completion of this PD qualifies you for the RIDE Computer Science Educator Endorsement.
Since URI is not offering a local CS Principles workshop, RI teachers should complete the interest form so that we can support you through the process of joining a national CSP cohort.
Scholarship funding from CS4RI is anticipated in Summer 2026 for most teachers accepted into the program to attend the PD at no cost.
Complete the Interest form by June 1, 2026
to recieve scholarship funding and application support!
📍 View all Code.org National Workshops offerings and look for “CS Principles” for Summer 2026 dates.
College credit for High School Students
RI educators successfully completing this PD will become eligible to offer this course for concurrent enrollment!
